MACKINNON
Harriet Isabel (nee Stewart)
Passed away peacefully on July 9, 2000 at the Community Nursing Home in Alexandria, aged 80 years. Caring mother of John D. W. MacKinnon of Brantford, and the late Kenneth W. MacKinnon of Ottawa. They are the sons of W. A. (Bud) MacKinnon of Alexandria. Harriet lived her entire life in the Glengarry community. She attended school and later taught home economics at Maxville High School. She enjoyed playing the organ for many years at the Kenyon Presbyterian Church in Dunvegan, and at the Alexandria United Church. She was also an active member of the Glengarry Historical Society since its inception. Friends and family may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria from 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at the Alexandria United Church. Interment will follow at the Kenyon Presbyterian Cemetery in Dunvegan. The family will be in attendance on Tuesday, July 11 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 12 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
